Wildlife emergencies, or natural disasters such as hurricanes, are exactly why the Sanctuary needs updated emergency and disaster equipment, supplies and facilities, which can be provided through our new Avian Disaster Response Program. It enables us to quickly respond to natural disasters that effect our wildlife and provide enhanced safety for the general public. It gives us the ability to move our entire hospital operation, hundreds of injured birds and equipment, when needed. The program could provide the means to have a dedicated area and equipment to help thousands of birds or for wildlife isolation and quarantine. Thank you for supporting this important new program.
